Beautiful park with large areas for children to play and ample benches for seating. The adjoining Kaluna Park is a more natural large island area bounded by the King River. It has some magnificent stands of old river red gums and other remnant vegetation which now has become rare. Many bird species can be found on the island.
Beautiful park. Lots of facilities. Perfect for all ages. Ideal place for anyone. Unless your allergic to grass, then probably wouldn't suggest you go
We slept over night in merriwa park, perfect place! Free, quiet, grassy, and clean toilets and showers.
Attended the market as part of the Wangaratta Jazz Festival. Beautiful day. Great venue. The water lily pond was spectacular and the rose gardens in full bloom. The market was very good and really enjoyable live music.
My favourite place for a picnic or to eat takeaway at the tables. There's some nice ponds and greenery, with ducks and Ibis (Gonzo birds).
